Did you or someone you know receive a BALANCE DUE STATEMENT from the Nassau County Traffic & Parking Violations Agency? Â DON'T PAY IT! Â If you do, you are pleading guilty to the charges that may be moving violations with points, etc. for more fines than you should have to pay. Â This STATEMENT is a warning that the court has NOT received your plea of "not guilty". Â If no action is taken, the Agency will notify DMV to suspend your driving privileges or registration. Â This STATEMENT is issued just before New York State Department of Motor Vehicles sends a NOTICE OF DRIVER LICENSE OR DRIVING PRIVILEGE SUSPENSION.
Did you receive a NOTICE OF DRIVER LICENSE OR DRIVING PRIVILEGE SUSPENSION? Â If so, you must take action at least one business day before the suspension date. Â Otherwise, the suspension will be recorded on your driving record. Your auto insurance will likely increase as a result and you have to pay a suspension termination fee that is currently $70 per ticket to clear the suspension. Â It takes NYSDMV about 5 business days to cancel an impending suspension or clear it. Â As such, it is best to handle at least 6 business day prior to the suspension date. This way, you do not appear as if you are driving with suspended driving privileges to law enforcement.
Need help with this? Â I, as an attorney, am able to clear the suspension and handle your case for you. Â Call me at 516 485 4888 or scan and email your notices to me [email protected] with your contact information. Â If sending photos, please send in ACTUAL size.
